The mammillaria longimama is a fleshy and perennial plant, globose with green and yellow flowers. It is native to the states of Hidalgo and Queretaro in Mexico and Texas in the United States. It is a plant that lives in arid deserts of these places. The  mammillaria along with Opuntia is the largest gender among Cactaaceae.
