Euphorbia ornithopus Euphorbia ornithopus Endemic to the Cape in South Africa. Boneless, irregularly ramified near the ground. Its branches are disordered and lying on the ground, formed by sharp, conical tubercles, some are underground sprouting a few feet away from the parent plant. It has an inflorescence in the form of ciato (apparently a single flower, actually several ...). The documented species reaches 26 cm. high.
